Meet the Crew

Meet the regular crew members that go out on most trips aboard the Taylor Jean Sport Fishing boat. Taylor Jean is a 2022 62'  foot Viking Express. These are our regular team members for tournament fishing. Captain Blaine Birch who started fishing with us when he was about 14 years old, was handed the position of lead Captain two years ago. Captain Dave McKendrick and Captain Ken Hager both hold US Coast Guard Masters Captain licenses. Captain's Alan, Brandon, and Kerry each own their own boats and have decades of tournament and salt water fishing experience under their belts. Mates Jarrett Birch,  and new comer Stephen Birch are tournament fishing members with lots of knowledge and experience as well. Don't let their age or size fool you, these boys can fish and out fish most adult anglers.

While we often have "guest" anglers, these are the regular members of our tournament fishing team. Each captain their own boats and have many years  of salt water fishing and boating experience. Sport fishing, or salt water fishing as many people refer to it involves a group of people who respond to any fishing situation automatically. With these attributes you can be competitive in tournament fishing. 

If you choose to charter with us, chances are you will be salt water fishing along side of these very capable fishermen. These guys love to share their knowledge with beginners, intermediate or expert fishermen. There is nothing greater than sharing knowledge and skills among those willing to learn.
